Although Travelin' Dad has somersaulted uncontrollably down a New Zealand hillside in a giant, 
water-
filled ball and has almost been trampled by African elephants (surprisingly quiet and sneaky animals, mind you), no travel experience terrified him like the prospect of taking his five-month old son on a two-hour flight to New York. 
With that in mind, he decided to blog on issues unique to those of us who continue to travel and explore when staying home and watching Elmo would be the much easier option.
